Mt Druitt Indigenous Choir, affectionately known as the One Good Day Choir are on the road again for another great tour Sep 22 – Oct 7 2017 During the September School Holidays, up to 50 of the choir and families will travel the Sturt Highway visiting the Great Australian Bight through Kangaroo Island to the Ports singing everywhere along the way from Murray River to Gawler but most of all Awesome Adelaide! The aim is to visit over 10 places over two weeks singing at Arts Centres, Schools and Communities celebrating our kinship and language and seeing the best of the South of Australia. The previous three tours went to Cape York and Central Queensland and Victoria with the choir clocking up 245 performances. Word is getting out about our need to raise $45,000 to cover the cost of the tour and achieve the dream, so whatever you can give will be a great blessing.
